Preparations

I'm quitting work, leaving my house, moving to a different city, and flying out of the country to go travelling for 10 months to a year, all at once.

So, I'm running around trying to say goodbye to people, while I pack, and finish things up at work. And I'm trying to get ready to be out of the country.

I don't think I'm getting things done fast enough. Well, I suppose, as long as I am prepared to throw out everything that isn't packed up by Sept 30, and I make it to the plane on Oct 6 with plane ticket and passport in hand, everything else is secondary.
