Rainy Season

It's rainy season here in Chiang Mai. The reason I know this for sure is everyone keeps telling me that it's the rainy season here in Chiang Mai.
It looks like the occasionally lightly drizzling season to me.
Hardest rain I've ever seen was in Calgary, when the sky opened up, all the traffic on the highway stopped because you couldn't see past the end of the hood on your truck.
Anyway, rain coat not required here in Thailand. Just wear sandels. They dry out faster than shoes.
